Een ajour bewerkte 18-karaats roségouden broche met een blauw fond waarop een voorstelling van twee mythische vogels, bladeren en bloemen in Neorenaissance stijl, gesigneerd Boucheron, Paris.

De werkmeester heeft zijn signauur: T.sc (TISSOT) gegraveerd op de voet van de vaas centraal tussen de klauwen van de vogels. Tussen 1865-1880 heeft deze werkmeester voornamelijk voor Boucheron gewerkt, hij staat bekend om zijn ajourgezaagde renaissancemotieven en jachttaferelen.
