Grote gouden Art Nouveau vlinderbroche met translucide (plique-a-jour) email in geel, paars en oranje. Bezet met diamanten. Gesigneerd Rozet und Fischmeister, Wenen.

Gelegen aan de Kohlmarkt in de meest elegante wijk van het centrum van Wenen, doet het architectonische ontwerp van de Rozet & Fischmeister-winkel sterk denken aan de Schatkamer in de Hofburg, het 13e-eeuwse voormalige belangrijkste keizerlijke paleis in het centrum van Wenen. Rozet & Fischmeister werd opgericht in 1770 en is een van de beroemdste goud- en zilversmeden van Wenen, nu gerund door de zesde generatie. Al die tijd is er waardevolle technische expertise doorgegeven die nu niet meer gangbaar is. Keizer Frans Jozef, maar ook Maria Altmann en de staat Oostenrijk waren opdrachtgevers. Deze grote vlinder, met zijn prachtige emaille, diamanten en robijnrode ogen, is door hen gemaakt rond 1901.
